Digital Tools, Analog Soul

The "Glass" Problem

We touch glass screens all day. They are smooth, cold, and uniform. But humans evolved to touch textures—wood, paper, stone, fabric.

Designing for "Feel"

When building MiroCards, we didn't want it to feel like a spreadsheet. We wanted it to feel like a deck of tarot cards or a box of old photographs.

  • The Flip: We obsess over the animation of the card flip. It has weight.
  • The Imperfection: The visuals aren't perfect vector graphics. They have grit and noise.
  • The Pace: We don't rush you. The UI is calm.

Why It Matters

"Warmware" vs "Software". We believe digital tools can still have warmth. By designing for emotion and texture, we hope to create a digital space that feels a little more human.

In a world of high-speed feeds, slow down and feel the texture.
